Cultivating wisdom in the next generation through classes, mentoring, and discussion groups
Teaching our young people to think critically and to develop effective listening skills are a vital charge for equipping them to navigate the abundant and enticing confusion present in our world. Our goal is to help them learn how to discern truth from lies, how to respectfully disagree with others, how to humbly wrestle through important questions, and how to understand language better through considering contextual etymology. What could be more important than coming out of high school with reasoned, rooted convictions about what they believe to be true about the world and how to be a productive member of it?
“… you must teach instruction and wisdom to your children, and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, as you lie down, and as you get up.”
— Deuteronomy 6:7
